Contest Guidelines
Each photographer may submit up to 15 photos by tagging each one on your Instagram account with #WBWPEpicEngagements, and WBWP members may also choose to submit directly through their accounts. New posts and previous posts will all be accepted. Please submit no more than 15 photos between now and Tuesday June 1st at 11:59 PM EDT. If one or more of your photos are chosen for our first round of judging we will reach out to you and ask for an jpeg file that is at least 2400 pixels on the longest side. This contest is free for all professional wedding photographers 18 years of age or older. For more information, please read our Official Contest Rules.
Our Judges
WBWP's Founder, along with our Managing Editor, are ready to see how you make engagement photos that thrill your clients. We'll be looking for great moments, brilliant concepts, and just plain gorgeous portraits. Of course; composition, lighting, exposure, and processing will all play a role when it comes to getting in our winner's circle, and if you make us cry or laugh out loud, or simply take our breath away, you're a shoe in!
Blair deLaubenfels
For two decades Blair deLaubenfels has focused on the art of photography. Creating a successful wedding and portrait photography business in the year 2000, she photographed weddings for 7 years and then went on to co-found Junebug Weddings and build a community of world-class photographers. Many of those artists still work with her today as a consultant at Art, Life and Business, and as a promoter of their work on World's Best Wedding Photos. Blair has contributed to two books on wedding planning, authored hundreds articles for photo blogs and magazines, spoken all over the world at top photography conferences, and curated hundreds of thousands of images for awards and publications. Now, as our the owner of WBWP, she brings her expertise to every contest we promote.
Jenn Tai
With 15 years experience as a wedding photographer, Jenn Tai runs one of the busiest photography studios in Seattle, WA, while she acts as Managing Editor for World's Best Wedding Photos. A multiple-award-winning photographer with an extraordinary work ethic and a keen eye for detail, Jenn has a deep understanding of the components that make up a great photograph and works tirelessly to ensure our contests run smoothly and that our winners receive the recognition they so richly deserve.
