Our Judges

WBWP's Founder, along with our Managing Editor, are ready to see photos of your best furry friends. We'll be looking for perfect puppy portraits, great canine moments, and just plain darling pictures of dogs. Of course, composition, lighting, exposure, and concept, will all play a role when it comes to getting in our winner's circle, and if you can make us laugh or talk baby talk to your photo that will definitely get you extra points.

Blair deLaubenfels - photo by Sue Bryce

Blair deLaubenfels

For two decades Blair deLaubenfels has focused on the art of photography. Creating a successful wedding and portrait photography business in the year 2000, she photographed weddings for 7 years and then went on to co-found Junebug Weddings and build a community of world-class photographers. Many of those artists still work with her today as a consultant at Art, Life and Business, and as a promoter of their work on World's Best Wedding Photos. Blair has contributed to two books on wedding planning, authored hundreds articles for photo blogs and magazines, spoken all over the world at top photography conferences, and curated hundreds of thousands of images for awards and publications. Now, as our the owner of WBWP, she brings her expertise to every contest we promote along with a talented list of judges.

Jenn Tai - Managing Editor of World's Best Wedding Photos

Jenn Tai

With 15 years experience as a wedding photographer, Jenn Tai stills runs one of the busiest photography studios in Seattle, WA, while she acts as Managing Editor for World's Best Wedding Photos. A multiple-award-winning photographer with an extraordinary work ethic and a keen eye for detail, she lends the perfect counter-point to Blair's big picture thinking and brings critical tech and digital photography know-how to the WBWP team. This is Jenn's first time coming out the wings to judge one of our contests and no doubt she'll have her puppy Tumble on her lap all throughout the process.

Jenn Tai - Managing Editor of World's Best Wedding Photos

At nine years old, Tumble love long walks, big belly rubs, and may even fetch a stick.  A connoisseur of good photography, she sticks her tongue out and wags her tail when she loves an artist's work and when she says "Bow Wow!", we take notice. Win her over, and you're a shoe-in for sure.

It's Time to Let the Dogs Out!
