Since back in the time of the Roman empire, rice has been tossed on wedding couples to symbolize good luck and prosperity raining on them. We all could use some more of that these days, so we’re celebrating this Sunday with an hilarious rice tossing photo from Victor Lax.

Symbolizing rain and meant to spread good luck and prosperity, rice has been used for centuries at weddings. Tossed gently on the couple (or not) our Sunday photo shows a guest taking it to a whole other level captured by extraordinary WBWP member Victor Lax of Lax Photography.
