Round 1 - The Decisive Moment

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!
Contest Deadline: 11:59 p.m. ET, April 30th, 2020

Coined by Henri Cartier-Bresson, the decisive moment is the split-second a photographer stops time to tell an enduring story. You feel it in your bones when you click your shutter, and you know it when you see your clients, laugh, cry, hold their breath, and fall back into the moment. Only 50 documentary photos taken in the last ten years will be chosen as winners by our distinguished judges, including world-renowned photographer and film-maker, Joe McNally, four-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize for photojournalism, Carol Guzy, and top photography consultant, speaker, author, and owner of WBWP, Blair deLaubenfels. Each winner will automatically be entered in our final contest of this series, The World's Best Wedding Photos of the Decade, and will be awarded exclusive coverage and a $100 gift certificate to spend with any of our participating sponsors. Read our official contest rules here.
