For several centuries, and until well past World War II, people believed they could catch the flu if their heads got cold so all men wore hats in the winter. Later, they began to take their hats off and wave them around in a gesture of approval. Today we say “hats off” for a job well done to all of those who are following medical guidelines to keep other people safe during the COVID-19 crisis, and to all of our members for helping couples reschedule their weddings and stay excited about celebrating when the right time comes.
