WBWP is thrilled to say that for our 5th and final round of our contest series, we're getting the band back together with Kim Bamberg, Christy Weber and our own Blair deLaubenfels!! Fast friends and photo fanatics for over 20 years, they co-founded Junebug Weddings way back in 2006 and worked tirelessly to bring their vision for an exclusive directory with world-class photography contests to the international stage. Since selling the business to investors, they continue to work on photography websites and design projects to this day. Blair carries on her love for wedding photography with her fresh new concept for supporting top artists through World's Best Wedding Photos, while Kim and Christy continue to be influential in the photography industry. When it comes to curating photographs and showcasing your style, this is the ultimate dream team.
For two decades Blair deLaubenfels has focused on the art of photography. Creating a successful wedding and portrait photography business with Christy Weber in the year 2000 she went on to co-founded Junebug Weddings and build a community of world-class photographers that are still with her on World's Best Wedding Photos. Blair has contributed to two books on wedding planning, authored hundreds articles for photo blogs and magazines, spoken all over the world at top photography conferences, and curated hundreds of thousands of images for awards and publications. Now, as our the owner of WBWP, she brings her expertise to every contest we promote along with a talented list of judges.
Popular wedding photographer, Kim Bamberg, focused on the visual assets as Junebug's Art Director, and her attention to detail and eye for outstanding photography never ceases to amaze us. She can see a one pixel difference in a split second and find that one little thing that can improve a layout like no one else. Her work in creating fashionable content took us to the top during our Junebug days, and we turn to her again and again for her exacting expertise. Kim lives with her husband Adam and her two children on San Juan Island just outside of Seattle where they run their very busy and beloved business, La Vie Photography
Former wedding photographer and a genius at all things tech, Christy Weber created Junebug's blog, What Junebug Loves, and took it to the top of the world market. With a keen attention to detail and talent for trend-setting design she carries on with her inspired work through her Seattle business, Action & Co. where she designs websites for all kinds of creatives and works with Blair to create websites for wedding photographers that sell themselves. Knowing that she will be part of our judging team for our final round makes us feel lucky and confident we'll have the best collection of wedding photography the world has to offer.
Here's to a Decade of Extraordinary Wedding Photography!
